Dr. Alena Papenfuss

Dr. Alena Papenfuss is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor in the state of Arizona. She has a long healthcare career, starting as a Physical Therapist Assistant and later becoming a Physical Therapist before embarking on a second career in Naturopathic Medicine. She brings with her a wealth of experience gained while working with many patients with various health concerns. She has found that by searching for the root cause of ill health and disease, often times the obstacle to cure can be overcome. She firmly believes that the body can heal remarkably well when it is given the right materials to use.

In her free time, she loves to camp, hike, road bike, garden and spend time in nature with family and friends. Not only does she enjoy cooking and baking often surprising her family and friends with a delicious “made-from-scratch“ dinner and/or dessert but she also enjoys formulating her own lip balm, herbal medicine and lotions.
